We will have arrived from many different places, both literally and figuratively, but I anticipate we will leave with a shared experience, new insights, and a sense of renewed commitment and strategies for creating change in our communities and organizations.
The deep learning and the meaningful relationships that have come from being connected to the AoH community have been a core part of my experience in the last few years. Our time together next week will provide another set of opportunities for personal exploration and renewal.
Since leaving my consulting practices about two years ago, my own AoH practice has become just a small component of the community work that I do. So as we gather next week, I will be asking myself a few questions: How can I make AoH practices more prevalent in my role as a County Commissioner? What other strategies would help create a local community of AoH practitioners where I live? How do I host myself I (once again) repurpose and reimagine my life moving forward?
Over the course of our days together, I am sure that my questions will expand, evolve, be redefined ….and some clarity may even emerge! Whatever the shape my questions take, I am confident that our time together will rewarding on many levels. Onward!
